With expressions of joy and gratitude, human rights activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju has received first class honours in Law from Baze University, Abuja.

The activist, who is famous for his constant criticism of the Buhari-led administration, announced the information on his Facebook and Twitter page, on Tuesday afternoon.

With a picture of the statement of result and a post, Adeyanju wrote, “To God alone be the glory. I suffered so much to get here. I have always known the law as someone who went through several criminal & civil trials but had to unlearn to learn many things. Thank you Lord for this. I’m truly grateful.”

On the other hand, the picture of his Law degree statement of result dated March 7, 2022, from the Abuja-based institution read, “This is to certify that Charles Deji Adeyanju having completed an approved course of study, and passed the prescribed examination, under the authority of the Senate, been awarded the degree of Bachelor of Law with First Class Honours on 24th February, 2022.”

According to People’s Gazette, Adeyanju during his full-time law programme at the private institution, continued his activism and has since enrolled for a master’s degree programme at the same institution.
