The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Tokunbo Abiru has hailed a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Segun Olulade better known as Eleniyan, on his birthday.
In a congratulatory message on Wednesday, Abiru described the Epe-born former lawmaker as “a thoroughbred Omoluabi in the true sense of it”.
He wrote, “You have continuously upheld the sanctity of party supremacy as a good party man. We are proud of your sacrifices and contributions to our dear party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
“Your charming charisma and the ability to mobilise people across socio-economic strata of the society for the party is well-acknowledged. You are a great asset to the progressives.
“In terms of capacity to deliver, you are eminently capable. Your records speak for you when you represented the good people of Epe Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly. You bonded with the grassroots with the projects and services you attracted to the villages and hinterlands of Epe.
“Also as the then Chairman, House Committee on Information, you were a spokesperson with a difference. You were a great image maker for the House and a delight of newsmen in Lagos State Assembly complex.”
The Senator also applauded Olulade for his labour of love as member of the Tokunbo Abiru Constituency Team (TACT).
“Your contributions to the landslide electoral success we had at the 2020 Lagos East Senatorial by-election and the continued support you have been giving me are well appreciated. I am grateful,” he said.
Abiru finally prayed that the Almighty God grant the heart desires of the celebrant and give him good health and vitality in the coming years.
