Abiru denies IKODASS endorsement of BOG for Lagos Governor

In a swift reaction, the chairman of IKODASS, Otunba Ganiu Abiru has refuted the endorsement of the candidate of the Action Democratic Party Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi for Lagos Governor saying the play isn’t a reflection of the executive committee of the association which is a combination of all associations and groups in Ikorodu.

BlackBoxNigeria has earlier reported the endorsement of BOG via a stage play at the ongoing Ikorodu Oga Day organised by IKODASS.

Abiru who is a former clerk of the Lagos State House of Assembly and an ex-aspirant for Lagos East Senatorial ticket under the ruling APC described as shocking the play saying he wasn’t aware that was what the actors planned staging. He distanced IKODASS from the endorsement saying the body was non-partisan and was ready to support all political aspirants with their prayers.
