Abike Dabiri Receives 187 Nigerians In Lagos After Xenophobia Attacks
Mixed emotions filled the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport moments ago when Nigerians who were forced to leave South Africa landed in the country.
On ground to receive the returnees was the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon Abike Dabiri.
The 187 Nigerians that landed moments ago were the first batch of stranded foreigners who were forced to their country of visit after their lives were threatened by residents of the host country. They were airlifted free of charge by Air Peace Airlines.
Another batch are expected to be flown in the next few days.
