Veteran Nigerian singer, Chibuzor Oji better known as Faze has again been thrown into mourning following the passing of his mother about a year after he lost his twin sister.
The ex-member of the defunct hip hop group, Plantashun Boyz, made this known via his Instagram page on Wednesday.
The bereaved music legend said his mother died on January 12, 2022, a year after his twin sister’s demise.
In the emotional post, the “Originality” crooner wondered why people he loves seems to be leaving him.
The 45-year-old, however consoled himself, saying he is thankful to God that his mother lived a whole life, adding that she is done with the world’s troubles.
Sharing a video of his late mum, Faze wrote: “I don’t know how to express what’s in my heart. My heart is heavy. My Mum passed on last Wednesday, January 12th.
“This, after my twin sister left this world last year. I don’t know why so many good people I love are leaving but I just hold on to the thought that God is God and he knows what he is doing.
“It is well. I just thank Him that she lived a full life and is done with the troubles of this world. Rest well Mummy.”
