A new wildlife garden is set to open in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
In a statement shared with BlackBox Nigeria, the Ikorodu Division Economic Forum said it will be hosting a press conference to intimate the general public on the proposed origin wild life park and arcade. According to IKDF, the multi billion naira project is first of its kind in Lagos State and will accommodate not less than 350 tropical animals living in their natural environment.
The project will also be housing an aquarium, a suspended cable car station, a green garden, an amusement park powered by nature, an international conference centre, a 1,500 bedroom five star hotel amongst others.
“The proposed origin wildlife park and gardens has 23 major attractions and small business units.
“The Wild life park with ultra modern facilities will accommodate, as much as 350 tropical animals living in their natural environment, an aquarium, a suspended cable car station, a green garden, an amusement park powered by nature, an international conference centre, a 1,500 bedroom five star hotel amongst others, ” the statement reads.
The project, which has been endorsed by the Lagos state government, will be sited in a 50 hectares land, attract multi billion naira in investment and create as much as 5,000 employment opportunities.
The wildlife Park is envisaged to come with the best modern day facilities to compete with world standard.
