The teenager who won last year’s European FIA OKJ European kart championship has come under the spot light of the international community, sport pundits, and fans home and abroad, following the news of his signing.

- Ugo Ugochukwu was born in New York on 13th of April, 2007, he is currently 13 of age.
- Ugo Ugochukwu is son to Oluchi Onweagba, a super Nigerian model who has worked for big designer brands like; Gucci, Fendi, Chanel, Christian Dior and others. Ugo’s mum who grew up in Lagos won the 1998 ‘Face of Africa’ contest.
- His name ‘Ugochukwu‘ literally means ‘God’s Eagle‘ in the Igbo language. It can also be translated to ‘Crown of God‘ or ‘Glory of God‘.
- He started his karting career in New York State in 2013.
- Ugo Ugochukwu won last year’s European FIA OKJ European kart championship, and also graduated to senior class this season.
- The Igbo descent has also won a string of titles in the United States.
