“NFF refused to pay for the ceremonial outfit almost one year after the World Cup!! This can only happen in Nigeria,” he wrote on his Instagram account to the chagrin of many observers.

The designer who hails from the same Warri, Delta state as NFF President, Amaju Pinnick further revealed that the football administrator has since stopped picking his calls.

“My brother Amaju has stopped picking my calls cos of this money. Someone at the office told me court is my only option!! What a shame!!”

Obviously a sad development, the football body is yet to react to the accusations although the Nigeria social media sphere has been set ablaze with the revelation.

While many are bewildered and outrightly condemning the NFF for corruption, some are of the opinion that Esimaje Awani of GT Stitches shouldn’t have dragged the football body on social media since he didn’t get the contract there.

BlackBox Nigeria shall keep you informed on updates.
