One Alexander Madu, 60, has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 9-year-old girl who resides with him and his wife in Imo state.
The state police commissioner, Rabiu Ladodo, disclosed that on September 24, 2019, one Chijioke Agu, the father of the victim, lodged a complaint at the Ikeduru Police Division.
“The suspect had, several times, raped the victim who is a relation to his wife.
“Whenever the wife leaves for market, he abused her until the victim opened up on the 23rd of September” Ladodo said.
