By In order to promote e-learning in secondary schools, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila (Surulere Federal Constituency, APC) is set to distribute 500 tablets to students from 131 selected secondary schools in his constituency.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the gadget has been with about 117 textbooks currently in use in all secondary school classes and also equipped for SAT candidates.
Code named, Gbaja Tab, the gadget is to help boost the electronic learning of the students as they compete with their counterparts.
According to a release by the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, the schools 500 students will be selected from include; Government College Lagos, Eric Moore, Surulere Iponri Estate High School, Akintan Senior High School, Gbaja Girls Senior High School, Community Senior High School, New Era Girls High School, Lagos Progressive Senior High School, Ajigbeda Senior Secondary School, Ansar-Ud-Deen Senior High School, Zumratul Islamiyyah High School and Stadium Senior High School.
