By The Kastina Police has arrested one Abdulrahman Abdulkarim, 40, for allegedly killing his wife, Wasila Sada, 19.
The suspect, after killing his wife, dumped her corpse in a well, Blackboxnigeria gathered.
The police, acting on a distress call, sent a team of detectives, led by DPO Dutsinma, who recovered the body and took it to the hospital where the victim was confirmed dead.
In other news, the Kastina Police has rescued the village head of Barkiya village, in Kurfi LGA, who was kidnapped by bandits.
The village head, Alh Magaji Ibrahim Barkiya, was rescued, when the DPO led a team of counter terrorists units, in collaboration with the local vigilante, chasing after and engaging the bandits in a gun duel.
The 10-man bandits soon took to their heels, leaving the village head behind.
