This grim occurrence transpired as a luxurious bus and a formidable truck collided, sending shockwaves through the community.
Mrs. Florence Okpe, the dedicated Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun, officially confirmed this somber event in the city of Abeokuta.
The calamity occurred when the bus, negotiating a bend along the expressway around the ‘Kara’ axis, collided with the unyielding truck, which callously continued its journey without pause.
A total of 21 individuals, comprising 13 men and eight women, found themselves unwittingly embroiled in this tragic incident.
As the community grapples with the magnitude of this disaster, the lifeless bodies of the four unfortunate victims have been respectfully laid to rest in a morgue located in Sagamu, Ogun.
Simultaneously, the three injured survivors have been swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where they receive the necessary medical attention in the wake of this grievous accident.
