Prospective candidates who are jostling to register for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination 2017 have called on the body overseeing the exam, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB to extend the date of registration has the last ten days has been filled with irregularities.
In a report by NPO, it was disclosed that the students have been besieging limited centres for days without scaling through the prescribed process.
It was gathered that the generation of the e-Pin which is important for registration has been filled with hitches as poor response from the server have frustrated both students and their parents.
Several candidates around Lagos State also disclosed that despite leaving their homes as early as 3:00am, they will still meet crowd at the point of registration, citing the generation of the e-Pin as the main problem being faced.
While some candidates who have written the exams before complained about the new process, they called on JAMB to entend the date of registration has the past days have been spent on the queue and no process have been completed.
