Veteran Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia’s mother, Mrs. Rose Idibia, has made a heartfelt plea to Honourable Natasha Osawaru, the singer’s new love interest, urging her to “free” her son.
The plea was made in a video that has since gone viral online.
In the video, Mrs. Idibia expressed concern about her son’s well-being, stating that he is not in his right state of mind due to the ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
She addressed Natasha directly, calling on Nigerian mothers to support her in her plea.
In her words: “Good evening Nigerians. My name is Mrs. Rose Idibia, and this message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo state.
“I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to free my son.
“My son is going through a divorce process and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son, this is not you.”
She went on to further explain her concerns, particularly focusing on what she referred to as beads that Natasha had placed on 2Face’s neck and arms, suggesting they may be influencing his actions.
Mrs. Idibia implored Natasha to remove the beads to help set her son free.
