Nollywood actress Annie Macauley Idibia has broken her silence two months after her husband, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, announced their separation.
In a recent Instagram post, Annie expressed her gratitude to her family, friends, and followers for their support during this difficult time.
In a subtle move, Annie also reverted to her maiden name, “Annie Uwana Macauley,” on the message she posted, sparking speculation about the finality of her separation from 2Baba. Meanwhile, the name on her profile remains Annie Idibia, with speculations from fans on her recent move.
Annie’s heartfelt post read: “To my family, to my friends who came through for me, to the support system I have now, to all my amazing family HERE and all over the world. God bless you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you, and I do not take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favour. God bless you all. This update comes after 2Baba’s surprise proposal to Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, barely three weeks after announcing the end of his 12-year marriage to Annie.
Annie and 2Baba share two children together and were once considered one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity couples.
