By The tracklist for the posthumous album of late Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan, was unveiled on Monday.
The five-track album is titled ‘Reality CHQ’ and billed to be released by his record label in the coming days.
“New ALBUM from Sound Sultan Reality Chq.
Release by Naija Ninja distributed by Empire Music. Coming soon,” read a post from the Facebook page of the late singer.
The body of work includes songs such as ‘Friends’, ‘Siren’, ‘Reality Cheque’, ‘Levels’ and ‘Naija Na Wa’, all produced by ID Cabasa.
The album featured legendary singer, 2Baba and fast-rising acts, Bella Shmurda and Zlatan.
Sound Sultan died in the United States on July 11, 2021 following a battle with throat cancer. He was aged 44, and buried in the country in accordance with his Islamic faith. The demise of the music icon who was known for his versatility and talent had sent shock waves across Nigeria and beyond.
Last month, Nigerian celebrities marked the one year anniversary of his painful death.
