The Lagos State University has debunked the rumours making round on social media that it had commenced the admission exercise for the 2020/2021 academic session.
In a statement released by the Coordinator, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, LASU, Ademola Adekoya, the University urged admission seekers, their parents and the general public to disregard such misleading information.
It partly reads:
“We have also observed that some unscrupulous elements are taking advantage of the desperation of some admission seekers to defraud them.
Against this background, admission seekers, parents and the general public are hereby informed that the Lagos State University has NOT COMMENCED admission exercise for the 2020/2021 academic session. All information to the contrary should therefore be disregarded.”
More importantly, adequate information concerning the admission exercise will be published on the University’s official website (www.lasu.edu.ng) and social media channels.
