#14thHeadies: Mayorkun beats Naira Marley, Olamide, others to win the ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ award

 

Nigerian singer, Mayorkun has emerged the winner of the ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ category for the 14th Headies Award ceremony held on Sunday.

‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ is a voting category for the artiste whose songs are inspired by the streets. Such song should captain lingua, which may also be originated by the artiste and popular on the street.

He won the award with his hit song “Geng”. He defeated Naira Marley, Reminisce, Rudeboy, Olamide, IVD and Zlatan to clinch the award.
