In a rather funny yet interesting twist, a man has set the internet on fire after proposing to his lover of 40 years.

The couple according to information gathered by BlackBox Nigeria were an item for four decades but they seemingly never took it to the next level level until last night.

In a post shared by Zigg with username @XaviercMiller, a family relative of the couple on X previously known as as Twitter, it was revealed that the unnamed lady has been with her man for forty years and he only finally proposed last night.

Xavier who is a nephew of the said lady didn’t give further information but this has continued to elicits reactions from netizens.

“Forty y? That’s love on another level!”, @simplydara commented.
