By VOTES BUYING? See How Lagos Civil Servants Got APC-Branded Rice From Sanwo-Olu
With few days left to the Governorship and State Assembly elections, the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been accused of votes buying.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Mr Sanwo-Olu was billed to meet with the State Civil Servants at the Adeyemi Bero Hall, Alausa earlier on Thursday but to the surprise of the workers, they met truckload of bags of rice, branded in APC which was later shared to them after the meeting.
The meeting turned rice sharing event has since been causing social media commentators to criticise APC and it’s governorship candidate for sharing rice and tagged it inducement as the day of the election draws nearer.
Sanwo-Olu is contesting for the Alausa Seat alongside major contenders such as Babatunde Gbadamosi (ADP) and Jimi Agbaje (PDP). Another contender, who is no new comer in the race, Owolabi Salis (AD).
