US embassy denies placing a ban on student visa

The American embassy in Nigeria has refuted claims that the US has placed a ban on student visa for Nigerian applicants.

Unconfirmed news has earlier gone viral that Nigerians have been banned from accessing student visa based on the continued damages image of the country.

The American mission in Nigeria has now cleared the air regarding the rumour.
