By The management of United Bank of Africa, UBA at its CEO Awards celebrated one of its security guard who had earlier found and returned a bag containing $10,000 of an unnamed customer of the bank.
The security guard, Mr Muhammed Ibrahim Ogbangom some times last year returned the cash to the owner who had banked with the Group in one of its branch in Lagos State.
Chairman of UBA Group, Tony Elumelu named him an exemplary Nigerian after he revealed that pledges of $15,000 and N5m have been made by those present at the Awards.
Among those who honoured the security guard are State Governors, House of Representatives members, top government officials and captains of industries present at the event.
Mr Elumelu further revealed that the management of the bank were proud of the act of Mr Muhammed as integrity was their watchword and his act will forever remain in history.
