See Corrected Figures Of Members Allowance, Plus Jibrin’s Share

The controversial House of Representative Members allowance as released by Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin had some errors in it, but before any official reaction, the Kano lawmaker have immediately corrected the figures and also published his own allowance he has so far received since his inauguration in 2011.

In his newly released statement, Hon Jibrin maintained that if any of the mentioned Reps wants to dispute his figures, he or she should do so by simply publishing what has been received so far and not make drama out of it.See the corrected figures below…

* Speaker Yakubu Dogara has been in the House 2007-date 1.5 billion naira

* Deputy Speaker Yusuf Sulaiman Lasun has been in the House 2011-date 800 million

* House Leader Femi Gbajabiamila has been in the House 2003-date 1.2 billion naira

* Deputy Leader Umar Buba Jibril has been in the House 2003-date 1.2 billion

* Whip Alhassan Ado Doguwa has been in the House 2007-date 1.2 billion naira

* Deputy Whip Pally Iriase has been in the House 2011-date 700 million naira

* Minority Leader Leo Ogor has been in the House 2003-date 1.2billion naira

* Deputy minority Leader Chukwuka Onyema 2007-11 and 2015-date 800million naira

* Minority Whip Yakubu Umar Barde has been in the House 2003-date 1.2 billion naira (700 million was an error)

* Deputy Minority Whip Binta Bello has been in the House 2011-date 700 million naira

He then revealed that he as a member inaugurated in 2011 have received N650m till date. He also said he has documented and even published a book which best described how he spent every penny and therefore dared any of them to disagree with his information.

He concluded, “I have never been comfortable with the money! Thank God the allowances has reached its Waterloo!The country and House will be better off!
