By OPEN Plans 24-Hour Entertainment Showdown In Ikorodu To Mark Independence Day
The Organization of Party Entertainers of Nigeria (O.P.E.N) is set for an entertainment showdown in Ikorodu from September 30 to October 1, 2018.
The annual event packaged by OPEN for for DJs, MCs, Kiddies Fun Providers and Event Planners across the country has been taking place in the last three years.
This year’s event is scheduled to take place at FunCity Frontage, Benson B/S, Ikorodu, Lagos, with the theme “Get Employed Through Entertainment” and will start by 4 p.m on September 30, 2018.
According to the organizers, admission to the event which promises to be entertaining and engaging will be free with maximum security.
“We are do this annually as a way to give back to the society through the promotion of entertainment and talents in the community and the society at large. And also to keep enlightening youth on the job opportunities in the entertainment especially on the core professions the association embodied.
“Moreover, the event is tagged to celebrate Independent Day. We will be having entertainment for complete 24 hours nonstop from red carpet, music, comedy, dance, choreography, raffle draw, DJ skill display, modeling display, stage play, and lot more.
“The event will cut across all ages from young and adult. We usually make provisions for this yearly. This year’s edition will be opening with adult segment(Red Carpet) on 30th September while the children segment is schedule for the next day October 1st unlike the previous editions opening with children segment,” organizers told BlackBox Nigeria in a chat.
Also as a means to engage young minds, the Organizers said a special feature for this year edition is to adopt interested and serious minded youth who are interested in any of the core professional coverage of the association.
OPEN invites the general public to join its 24-Hour entertainment lockdown as a means to unwind and enjoy Independence Day.
