Oba of Kweme Kingdom Facilitates Arrest Of Fake Traditional Ruler In Lagos State

The Oba of Kweme Kingdom in Badagry, Aholu Olalekan Sejiro James, has been instrumental to the arrest of one Olugbenga Jeremiah Oduwole who has been impersonating as a Yoruba traditional ruler under the title of Oriade Of Iranmiyi Kingdom, Adeyenmi II, with his purported palace situated at No 1, Palace Way, Iranmiyi Kingdom, Ogun State.

Oduwole game was declared up on Thursday December 21, 2017, when a Team of detectives from Ifako Police Station arrested him in Gbagada following the tip off by Oba Sejiro who the impersonator had befriended after they met in March 2017.

A reliable source from the Kweme Palace told BlackBox Nigeria that Oba Sejiro James met Oduwole at the 50th Birthday Celebration of the Personal Assistant to Akran of Badagry sometimes in March 2017 and he has been a regular at the Kweme Palace ever since.

Since he (fake Oba Oduwole ) met Kabiesi in March, he always come to the Kweme Palace and follow Oba Sejiro James around to major events. Within this time, he borrowed money from so many people under the pretence that he is Aweh (Oba Sejiro )’s friend.

Olugbenga after he was arrested by the Police

“We started getting suspicious of his identity when we asked his Driver, the address to Oduwole’s palace and he could not identify where his Boss’s palace was,” the source told BBN.

On further investigation, BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Oduwole who has since been moved to the Police Force Headquarters in Ikeja, is a herbalist who has about eight different wives scattered across the country.
