Meet Gboyega Sanyannwo, Governor Sanwo-Olu’s newly appointed Deputy CoS

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has apparently hit the ground running. This is quite obvious with the spate of appointments he has made in the last 24 hours following his inauguration.

What however almost created a controversy is the office of the Chief of Staff. Moments ago, the Governor finally announced Tayo Ayinde, his campaign Director General as the Chief of Staff. This came after an initial controversy over what was described as a false information when Mr. Ayinde was first announced by news medium.

As the confirmation however eventually became official, Tayo Ayinde was appointed alongside a Deputy Chief of Staff.

Before now, Gboyega Sanyannwo was perhaps unknown in political circles which made BlackBox Nigeria make some diggings about the new Deputy CoS. 

Gboyega Soyannwo is an alunmi of University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) from the Lagos Business School (Pan Atlantic University).  He is amongst others a Project Manager (Prince2), a Chartered Economist (A.C.E.).

Gboyega is a professional who has over 25 years experience in the banking, financial, management industry.

For his elementary education, Gboyega attended the prestigious Corona Private School before proceeding to the equally highly rated Kings College, Lagos.

During his 25 years professional journey, Gboyega Sanyannwo worked in top financial institutions which include; Zenith Bank, Oceanic Bank, National Bank and Standard Trust Assurance. 

He is currently the MD/CEO of Cranbrook Building Support Services Limited.

During the electioneering period, BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Mr Gboyega Sanyannwo was always sighted beside the then APC Guber candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. He is described to have a long professional and personal relationship with the new Governor who also put in almost two decades in the financial sector before embracing politics.
