Mbappe Wins 2018 World Cup Young Player Award As Modric And Courtois Make Awards List In Russia

As France emerges the Champions of the World, one of its striker and goalscorer, Kylian Mbappe has been awarded the World Cup Young Player award.

Top dignitaries on the podium included the leader of host country, President Vladimir Putin, President Emmanuel Macron of France and President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic of Croatia, FIFA President, Gianni Infantino and other top personalities invited.

Also awarded were Croatia’s skipper, Luka Modric who won the Golden Ball award; Belgium goal keeper, Thibaut Courtois emerged the Best as he was awarded the Golden Glove and England’s captain, Harry Kane, who won the Golden Boot for being the highest goalscorer with 6goals in the tournament. Both Courtois and Kane were absent to receive their awards as they seem to have left Russia after the 3rd Place match between Belgium and England.
