Leicester City’s Claudio Ranieri Wins Best FIFA Men’s Coach Award

Leicester City’s Manager, Claudio Ranieri have continued to gain recognition for his unexpected victory at the campaign of the last Premier League race as he has won himself the Best Coach (Men) of  the Year award at the FIFA 2016 Awards held in Switzerland on Monday.

Also, Silvia Neid won the Best Coach (Women) of the Year Award. The retired midfielder is the current coach of the German’s Women national team side.

The Italian guided 5000-1 Leicester, which is almost a new comer to the top English League during the 2015/16 season to the Premier League title.

While receiving his award, he said, “What happened in England last season was strange. The god of football said: ‘Leicester must win’.”
