Lagos Conference 57 Celebrates Remi Tinubu At 57

 

The Council of Chairmen in Lagos State, Conference 57 associated themselves with Senator Oluremi Tinubu OON of Lagos Central Senatorial District as she clocked 57.

The Conference Chairman, Hon Lola Essien led other members to Bethesda Home where they celebrated with less-privileged children as the former First Lady has always been identified with them.

Hon Essien in her speech recognised the works of the lawmaker, who is also the wife of the ruling All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. She stated her giant strides in giving back to her community which have helped boost the grassroots.

She said, “Our mummy is a gift to this Nation, she is a big pride and a big asset to the progressive folds, her contributions on the nation development is something to reckon with.
She is a true mother, leader and a teacher.

She had played in Lagos state as the former first lady with different giant strides to her record coupled with qualitative and quantitative representation she is giving to the people of Lagos Central Senatorial district with numerous achievements which are audible to the deaf and visual to the blind,” Hon Essien explained.

The Conference 57 also donated gift items to members of the Home in the name of Senator Tinubu. The items included food items to toiletries.

In appreciation, a representative of the children in the Home, Anderson Fidelix appreciated the efforts of the former First lady as the support they all enjoys from her makes them believe the saying, “out of sight is not of out of vision.”

The 300L student of Political Science at the University of Nnamdi Azikkwe disclosed that 23 of them are currently under full schorlarship in tertiary institutions, courtesy of Senator Remi Tinubu.

The Conference 57 members were later conducted round the facilities to round off the celebration.
