A special announcement reaching BlackBox Nigeria now has it that the Majority leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade has informed the general public that 6 athletes in the Ikorodu division will get an all-expense paid trip to the Lagos City Marathon holding tomorrow Saturday 2nd February 2019.

According to the statement by the State lawmaker today, the six athlete are athletes drawn from the Oba Shotobi Mini Marathon initiated by his office.
The statement further explained the breakdown of how the total number of athletes came to being:
The female winner of last edition of Oba shotobi mini marathon. And the two runner up will participate in 10k race of Lagos access marathon .
The winner of the male category of oba shotobi mini marathon and the runner up will also participate in 10k race .
