By The Semi-Finals of the GTBank-Lagos State Principal’s Cup have been completed with a thrilling display of stunning football skills as the victorious sides moving to the Final games of the competition.
The games featured Secondary School Students from both Senior and Junior Categories as they all gave a scintillating performance.
The games were played at the Onikan Stadium on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017. The Lagos Principal’s Cup is a yearly football competition sponsored by Guaranty Trust Bank and Lagos State Government. This is the 8th Season of the tourney.
Highlights of the games included a spectacular display from 11-year-old female player Aliyat Saheed of Isale-Eko Grammar School, Lagos Island. The skillful player currently in Js1 stole the show as she bagged the Player of the Day Award.
The schools that participated in the semi-finals included; Sanya Girls Grammar School, Surulere; Government Senior College, Agege; Ikorodu Senior High School, Ikorodu; Isale-Eko Grammar School, Lagos Island; Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School, Ojokoro; Odogunyan Grammar School, Ikorodu; Muslim Senior College, Oworonshoki and Ikotun Senior High School, Ikotun.

Will the Male team of Ikotun Senior High school win the champions ticket just like their female counterparts did last season? We will know on Tuesday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
