In what appears to be inevitable, Honourable Rotimi Makinde, a former member of the House Representatives will be losing a property to demolition as the Ogun state government embark on demolitions of structures along the Alagbole/Ajuwon area of Ogun state and Lagos boundaries due to road expansion.
Reports have it that both Governor Ibikunle Amosu and the actor turned politician met at the site of the property yesterday morning where Amosu made it clear that the structure has to go.


Makinde on the other hand states that while he knows the building will be pulled down, he wants some form of compensation.
“I can see the inevitable of the circumstances and as a public person I can’t but brace up for the reality and to beg the conscience of the governor to ensure compensation”, he said.
According to reports, the property cost the one term honourable over one hundrmillion naira and was financed with a loan he got from Diamond bank.
