By Femi Kuti’s Bass Player Absconds 20 Minutes To Sold-Out Show In New York
These are truly not the best of times for leading Afrobeat act, Femi Kuti, as his bassist was said to have absconded few minutes to a sold out show in Summer Stage, New York City.
In a post on Facebook, Femi said the action of Agheho Andrew, his bassist almost ruined his show yesterday, July 29, 2018.
Femi Kuti who is current on his One People, One World Tour, thank the rest of the band for giving one of the best shows of the tour.
“My bassist Aghedo Andrew nearly ruined my concert yesterday in New York @SummerStage ,He disappeared ( absconded ) 20mins before show time. I want to thank the rest of the band for standing strong and giving one of the best shows of the tour #onepeopleoneworld tour 2018,” the scion of late Afrobeat Legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti wrote on Facebook.
