FAMILIAR TERRITORY? MANCHESTER UNITED TO SLUG IT OUT WITH SPANISH RIVAL ‘BARCELONA’ IN UCL QUARTER FINALS 

 

Manchester United after a terrific night of comeback last week to secure a position in the last 8, have drawn Barcelona in the Champions League quarterfinals.

 

 

The draw was held this morning, with Barca versus United the plum tie being a repeat of the 2009 and 2011 finals.

An all-England tie was also thrown up as Tottenham are to meet with Manchester City.

 

Ajax versus Juventus and Liverpool versus Porto make up the final eight draw.

However, the winner of Liverpool Versus FC Porto will take on the winner of Man Utd Versus Barca in the semifinals while the other one will see Ajax/Juventus play Tottenham/Man City.

The first legs of the ties will be played on 9-10 April while the second legs will take place on 16-17 April.
