Speak with certainty

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you (not finger).

You all are in the soup (not, in soup). To be in an unpleasant or difficult situation is to be in the soup.

The suspenseful story piqued my interest (not, picked). The word “pique” in this context means to arouse.

Be your own man and decide (not, be a man). To not let yourself be influenced or controlled by other people is to be your own man.
