EFCC Arrests APC Agent With Millions Of Cash On Election Day

Operatives of the EFCC earlier today intercepted cash in transit which was suspected to be used for votes buying

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Saturday  arrested an agent of the All Progressives Congress with cash running into millions of Naira.

According to the anti-graft agency, the suspect was arrested with bags of money belonging to Emmanuel Jimeh, the governorship candidate of APC in Benue State.

APC governorship candidate, Emmanuel Jimeh, the man allegedly named as owner of the bags of money suspected to be for votes buying.

It was reported that while the EFCC operatives were making the arrest in North Bank Area of Makurdi, some hoodlums attacked the officials and destroyed operational vehicles in the process but were unable to sabotage the arrest.
