By The race to the Governor’s seat is getting tougher by the day. All is set for the gubernatorial election in Edo State. The battle which is strictly between the State’s ruling party, All Progressives Congress APC and Nigeria’s main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, PDP is getting more dramatic as the candidate of the latter have been accused lately for using his church to preach his candidacy.
A new flyer have surfaced online where Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, a leader in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the factional candidate of the PDP have been accused lately of using his church to converse for votes in the State while accusing his top contender of moves to islamize the State.
The flyer got negative reaction on the social media as it questions the stand of the candidate and also that of his church, with questioning the stand of the church in the gubernatorial race in the State slated for next week Saturday, September 10th, 2016.

Prince Ayo Oshinowo ….fantastically nonsense. I hope daddy G.O. would be courageous enough to fire or suspend church members behind this. Otherwise we need to be convinced that RCCG is not an extension of PDP. They have really gone too far!!
