DINO MELAYE WINS 6 LGA’S OUT OF 7 TO CLINCH KOGI WEST SENATORIAL DISTRICT RE-ELECTION

Known for his drama, controversies and ever presence in the news especially Twitter, Senator Dino Melaye has emerged winner in Saturday’s National Assembly election for Kogi West Senatorial District Conducted in the State.

The Senator who is the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) defeated his close rival Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

BlackBox gathered that he polled a total of 85, 395 votes to defeat his APC opponent who scored 66, 902 votes.

Dino won 6 out of 7 Local Government Areas LGA’s Kogi West Senatorial District which comprises of seven LGAs namely Lokoja, Kogi/Koton Karfe, Kabba/Bunu Ijumu, Yagba East, Yagba West saw Dino.
