Pandemonium and apprehension seems to be the order of the day as loved ones, followers and other well meaning Nigerians of popular Nigerian-Cannadian Professor, Pius Adesanmi can’t say for sure what the fate of the English Professor is as he is feared as part of the casualties of the ill fated Boeing 737 Aircraft of the Ethiopian Airline.

Ethiopian Airline’s 4months Old Boeing 737 Crashes In Addis Ababa With 157 Onboard

 

Recall that BlackBox reported earlier that the said Aircraft of the Ethopian Airline was reported to have crashed in the early hours of today, Sunday 10th March, after four months of purchase claiming the lives of all passengers and crew totalling 157.

 

On the heels of this ill fated occurrence, Nigerians have continue to react over the undecided fate for Pius Adesanmi who is popular for always lending his voice via his journalistic writing and social media platforms on issues that concerns Nigeria and Nigerians.

 

The reason for this reaction and apprehension is that, there are news making the rounds that he was part of the passenger onboard the aircraft flying to Nairobi, Kenya.

However, In another report, Nigerians are skeptical about Adesanmi onboard the aircraft as the manifest showed that only a Nigerian died but since he is a Canadian citizen, he might not be the Nigerian recorded. Also, his phone was still receptive to calls as at the time of filing this report.

“It is true. AU has confirmed he was on the flight. He was traveling from Canada to Nairobi to attend the AU ECOSOCC meeting, representing the AFrican diaspora. Two of the participants were involved, including another participant from Europe. This is so sad.”

“I am here dialing @pius_adesanmi’s number, hoping he wasn’t on that plane. When we brought him to Berlin for a reading recently he told me he had escaped death after a bad crash in Nigeria (which killed at least 2 others) and was in hospital for a while. Who can confirm please?”

“I just got information that Professor Pius Adesanmi, a Nigerian professor with Carlton University in Canada is among those that died this morning on the ill fated Ethiopia airline. On his way to attend the AU ECOSOCC committee meeting in Nairobi. RIP. @pius_adesanmi, @Canada”
