Breaking! Onnoghen Absent In Court, CCT Adjourns Trial

BREAKING! ONNOGHEN ABSENT IN COURT, CCT ADJOURNS TRIAL

Information reaching BlackBox Nigeria now has it that, the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT earlier today has adjourned the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen till Wednesday February 13 2019.

 

Suspended CJN Onnoghen drags President Buhari to court

 

CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar before pronouncing the adjournment, directed that Justice, Onnoghen, who was suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari, should appear in person before the tribunal would proceed with the case against him.

One will recall that Onnoghen had been accused of false asset declaration and was suspended based on an exparte motion originating from the CCT. An acting CJN, Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed has been sworn-in.
