By Emmanuel Macron has emerged the President of France. The 39 year old fnance expert’s emergence is coming after defeating incumbent President, Marine LePen in second round of voting.
Macron, an Independent Centrist won the election by a margin of over 65% to LePen’s less than 35.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that President LePen might have congratulated the incoming President while UK Prime Minister, Theresa May have also sent her congratulatory message.
“The prime minister warmly congratulates President-elect Macron on his election success. France is one of our closest allies and we look forward to working with the new president on a wide range of shared priorities,” a statement from Downing Street as obtained by BBN read.
