Back-to-Back Victory For Manchester United, Rout Swansea At Liberty Stadium

 

Manchester United once again defeated their Premier League opponent in a four-goal thriller without getting any back in response. The scoreline gained at Liberty Stadium is same with that of League opening match at the Old Trafford last week.

The Reds had a good start from the first half of the match even though they had some frustrating moments. Marcus Rashford showed flashes of brilliance but missed some close chances at goal while Pogba on the other hand was on top speed as he also escaped been sent off following a poor challenge on Tom Carrol.

United got lucky before the end of first half as Eric Bailly had a clear chance to score on the 45minute following a power nod from Pogba. The goal was Bailly’s first since joining the club.

Second half was cool until the game changed for good for the away team after two substitutes, Maroune Felaini and Anthony Martial gav their side an improvement. It was the club’s new signing, Romelu Lukaku that had the first chance to add to thegoals for the day as his 80 minutes strike put United 2goals ahead.

The tempo soon continued as the trio of Pogba, Martial and Mhiktaryan had a good time which resulted in the club’s record signing, Pogba to score the third goal of the game before substitute Martial extended the lead with his fine strike.

The three goals scored in the second 45minutes was scored in a time frame of 3mins 41 seconds and gave the visiting club a back-to-back winning of 4goals. This now brings their tally to 8goals without conceding in two Premier League games.

After having a fantastic start at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, Manchester United will be hoping to be in good form as they prepare against Leicester City at Old Trafford next week, before the international break.
