BlackBox Nigeria can say that relief came the way of Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe earlier today when the Minister for Health, Prof Isaac Adewole after appeals from the President of Theatre Arts & Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, Otunba Bolaji Amusan directed that the ailing Yoruba actor be immediately hospitalised at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba for a first class medical attention and treatment.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the honourable minister who placed a direct call to the Chief Medical Director of LUTH to be on the alert to receive the actor, showered encomium on the national excos of association for taking a quick decision using their resources to garner support for the ace actor. He further assured the association of his full support as they clamour for health insurance policy for its members.

The President of the association, Otunba Bolaji Amusan has since expressed appreciation to the Hon Minister for his quick response while he also expressed gratitude to the Federal Government of Nigeria for giving the association a listening ear.
Also, he extended his hand of fellowship to ace actor Muyiwa Adegoke aka Londoner for his efforts too. He also lauded the kind gesture of the Vice President of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osibajo, actors and all well-meaning Nigerians home and abroad.
