3 Houses, Vehicles Razed Down, Properties Destroyed After Killing Of Four Alleged Baddoo Members

The rather brutal killing of four suspected members of the dreaded Baddo group has led to the burning of three houses, vehicles and properties in Adamo community of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Recall that BlackBox Nigeria earlier reported how the four young men were killed after they were accused to the belong to the dangerous killer group on Friday. New reports from the community has it that they were just local land speculators, popularly known as Omo-Onile.

BBN gathered that they had gone to a new construction site and in their usual manner demanded for cash settlement from the owner of the building. The discussion went south when the owner failed to settle them.

It was gathered that they left and later returned to the site to cause mayhem, unkown to them, the owner had hired another group of locals who prevented them from accessing the construction site.

The four Omo-Onile were however over powered by the hired thugs and were chased. WHile they were on the run, some of the thugs started shouting ‘Baddoo, Baddoo, which prompted other residents of the community to join in the chase.

The four land speculators were later cornered at the Agungomoye area of Adamo where they were beaten to death. The anger of the news of family of four killed by the dreaded group earlier in the week agitated for the mob action by the residents on hearing they were members being chased.

However, the killing of the land speculators ignited instant crisis as Agunfoye thugs mobilised themselves in a reprisal attack on Adamo community were their friends were killed.

Armed with assorted weapons, including guns, three houses, vehicles parked and other properties were destroyed as the residents ran helter-skelter for safety.

Reacting to the ugly scenario, Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni disclosed that investigation was already underway to ascertain the group of people that raised the false alarm of Baddoo that led to the lyching of the land speculators.
