Pictures As Buhari, Talon Commission Seme-Krake Joint Border

The newly upgraded border post at Seme-Krake Border

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari and his Beninnois counterpart, President Patrice Talon moments ago jointly commissioned a newly upgraded border post at the Seme-Krake border, located in the borders of Nigeria and Republic of Benin.

In his remarks on the social media, President Buhari disclosed that the completion of the joint project further shows the serious relationship between the two countries as he congratulated President Talon.

At the event were Nigerian delegates which included the outgoing Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode among other State Executive members.

One of Buhari’s tweet reads; “President Patrice Talon of the Republic of Benin & I today jointly inaugurated the upgraded Border Post at the SÈMÈ-KRAKÉ Joint Border, one of the busiest boundary lines in Africa. The new Border Post is a symbol of integration that brings together the peoples of Nigeria & Benin.
