The Lagos State Government has declared Thursday, March 29 this week, as work free day in the State.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan.

He disclosed that this will enable Lagosians come out enmasse to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari who is on a historic two-day visit to Lagos State.

The statement urges residents to adhere to the security guidance earlier announced to make the visit as peaceful and orderly.

BlackBox Nigeria recalls that two years ago the President had unceremoniously canceled his scheduled visit to the centre of excellence.

Buhari’s official visit will be the first time in about 15 years that a sitting president will be visiting the state on a working visit.
