After All The Buzz, Massive Turn Out Greets Olamide’s Show, OLIC4

 

YBNL owner, Olamide successfully had his yearly concert, Olamide Live In Concert (OLIC) at the State-owned Teslim Balogun Stadium located in Surulere area of Lagos on Sunday, December 17th. Early reports reports had suggested a low turn out at the event.

Fresh updates gathered by BlackBox Nigeria reveals that the crowd at the 25,000 capacity stadium had a good time through out the concert as they all trooped out to watch the ‘Wo’ crooner who just released his latest album, Lagos Nawa. It was learnt that the turn out of fans was different from what was earlier reported online.

BBN gathered that among the crowd were die-hard fans of Olamide who were always looking out for his concert and also residents of Surulere, the Sport City where the venue was located. This is the first time in four years that OLIC will be held in an open space such as a stadium.

In the area of security, a music lover who was at the concert disclosed that the security operatives at the stadium were impressive as they were present in all corners through out the event. He also added that fans were treated to free food and drinks immediately they entered the venue.

He also added that the vicinity was totally clean as officials of the Lagos State Waste Management Agency (LAWMA) were on hand cleaning the vicinity.

Among top artists that thrilled the audience include Phyno, Tiwa Savage, Lil Kesh, Durella, Olu Maintain, Davolee, Ycee, Dremo, Daddy Showkey, IllBliss, CDQ, L.A.X, Skales, Reminisce, Wavy the Creator, Q-Dot, among others.
