Liverpool’s Salah Beats Victor Moses, Aubameyang And Mane To Win BBC African Footballer Of The Year

 

25-year-old Mohammed Ghaly Salah on Monday night won the 2017 BBC African Footballer of the Year Award ahead of other competitors such as Victor Moses, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Naby Keita.

According to Football critics, Salah’s sterling performance for his club side, Liverpool and Egyptian national team has been recognised and crowned with the award.

Salah who joined Liverpool from AS Roma at the beginning of the 2017/18 season has enjoyed the most successful year of his illustrious career as he also played in the final of the African Cup of National and helping his country side, the Pharaohs to qualify for 2018 FIFA World Cup, their first since 1990.

Salah is currently the Top Scorer in English Premier League with 13 goals and currently has 5 goals in the UEFA Champions League (2017/18).
