Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Is Ghana’s 5th President
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was earlier today sworn in as the 5th President of the 4th Republic of the Black Star nation before Heads of States across Africa and thousands of guests who also watched him take his oath of office in the country’s capital, Accra.
The 72-years-old Human Rights lawyer who after trying for a lucky third time tasked his fellow county men to have more than Birth Certificates and Passports for their dear country Ghana.
He also promised to provide free high school education and construction of more factories.
Akufo-Addo’s inauguration today represents the latest peaceful handover of power in Ghana.
While he revealed that the exalted office of the President of the Republic of Ghana was not an avenue to make money, he said he would reduce taxes to boost the nation’s economy as he declared the country open for business again.!
The 7th December 2016, Presidential election winner from the New Patriotic Party defeated his main opponent and incumbent President, Mr John Dramani Mahama, an election which marked his third time for vying for the position.
The country’s former Minister of Justice and Foreign main campaign promise was to build a factory in each districts in the West6 African country.
